David Moyes has revealed that Real Sociedad are "working hard" to improve their squad this month.
The former Manchester United boss is yet to make a signing in his first transfer window in charge of the Spanish club.
The Scot hopes to have done some business before the deadline, but refused to comment on speculation linking him with Burnley striker Danny Ings.
"I can't comment on individual players because I don't want to destabilise my club or another club," Moyes told reporters.
"We've only got two weeks left and we're working hard to try to get players in."
A forward is believed to be Moyes's priority as he seeks to ease the burden on Carlos Vela, who has scored seven of Sociedad's 19 La Liga goals this season.
Ings is out of contract in the summer and is now is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs. Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Leicester City have all been touted with an interest in him.
