Torino have completed the signing of defender Nikola Maksimovic from Red Star Belgrade.
The 21-year-old, who has made four appearances for Serbia, had been linked with a number of European clubs.
Manchester City had reportedly been preparing a bid for the centre-back this summer, but Torino have moved quickly to acquire his signature.
Maksimovic is expected to join up with his new teammates this week.
