Having got off to a losing start in the Lyon hotseat, Fabio Grosso will aim to rectify last weekend's mistakes when Les Gones face Reims at the Stade Auguste-Delaune on Sunday lunchtime.
The visitors fell to a 1-0 defeat to early high-flyers Brest last weekend, while Will Still's men came away from Lille with a 2-1 victory to their name on Tuesday.

Already failing to make their presence felt in the final third, the loss of Lacazette - even though the Gones skipper has netted just once this season - will only harm Grosso's chances of a first Lyon victory further.
A lack of consistency has bedevilled Reims at home, but Still's exciting crop are well-versed in taking their chances and can prolong the visitors' misery with a fourth triumph of the season.

Seeking to snap a disheartening six-game run without a win, Toulouse host newly-promoted Metz in Sunday's Ligue 1 showdown at Stadium Municipal.
Carles Martinez's side failed to cling onto a one-goal lead in a 2-1 beating against Lens last weekend, while Les Grenats lost to Strasbourg 1-0 in the Derby de l'Est.

Draws have been commonplace in this fixture over the past several years, and while the two sides have not squared off since pre-COVID times, we can envisage a similar pattern continuing here.
Toulouse have established themselves as the stalemate specialists at home, but Metz have developed an affinity for dogged defensive showings on the road, and both sides should leave with another point in the bag.

Unbeaten Nice welcome leaders Brest to the Allianz Riviera on Sunday afternoon as the two sides serve up a surprise top-of-the-table clash in Ligue 1.
The hosts extended their hot streak with a 1-0 victory over Monaco last time out, while the visitors retained top spot with a 1-0 win against Lyon.

We expect Nice to extend their winning streak to four matches with a hard-fought victory over Brest, who will likely fall short despite pushing the hosts all the way.
Although the Pirates have made a hugely impressive start to the season, Les Aiglons are yet to taste defeat in 2023-24, demonstrating their quality at both ends of the pitch.

Le Havre will be looking to maintain their impressive start to life in Ligue 1 when they welcome Lille to the Stade Oceane on Sunday afternoon.
The top-flight newcomers have lost just one of their six matches since gaining promotion, while LOSC have struggled for consistency this term.

Given that Le Havre have only lost one of their six matches this season, we expect Elsner's men to pick up another positive result on home soil, although Lille are expected to leave the Stade Oceane with a point.

Both teams have scored more than the current top two but remarkably find themselves near the bottom of the Ligue 1 standings.

Both sides have been among the goals frequently this season, but letting in too many means they are both early relegation candidates.
The two have been prone to drawing matches this season, and the same could well happen again, extending Montpellier's unbeaten run to 14 matches in this fixture.

Rennes and Nantes round off the Ligue 1 weekend on Sunday night when they meet at Roazhon Park.
Both clubs are currently lingering at the bottom of the top half, entering the weekend in ninth and 10th respectively.

A 3-0 win over Maccabi Haifa failed to inspire Rennes back into winning form in the league as another draw last weekend felt like one step backwards.
Nantes' form has really picked up in recent weeks after a very sluggish start, and they may spring a minor surprise here against a Rennes side with a lot on their plate this week.
