Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has admitted that his side's cushion at the top of Ligue 1 could be causing his team to lose focus.
Les Rouges et Bleu are 10 points clear of second-placed Angers, but needed a 75th-minute Angel di Maria goal to seal victory over Rennes.
However, despite the narrow victory, Blanc has suggested that PSG were in total control.
He is quoted by Ligue 1.com: "Overall, we dominated from start to finish, even if Rennes had the ball a little more, particularly in the second half. In the final 20 minutes, we took advantage of the effort Rennes had put in.
"You can't change the team around like that and expect to be as clinical. When you have Champions League games, you have to think about them too.
"I honestly don't know whether the fact of having a lot of points in hand at the top of the table doesn't encourage my players to relax, and I don't know if it's the best way to stay focussed on the big matches will still have in both the league and the Champions League."
PSG travel to face Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.
