Rennes midfielder Yacine Brahimi has reaffirmed his desire to leave Route de Lorient this summer.
The 22-year-old, who scored two goals in 17 Ligue 1 matches last season, had reportedly handed in a transfer request last month.
"I'm at the point of no return with Rennes," said Brahimi. "My relationship with them is broken."
Sochaux and Borussia Monchengladbach are interested in Brahimi but Aston Villa are the favourites to secure the player's signature, according to The Sun.
Brahimi was capped nine times by France at under-21 level.
