Spain captain Iker Casillas has claimed that his side will find it difficult against the Republic of Ireland on Thursday evening.
Vicente del Bosque's side started their Euro 2012 campaign with a draw against Italy and Casillas is expecting another hard match against Giovanni Trapattoni's men.
The Real Madrid goalkeeper said: "Our second game against Ireland will be a tough game.
"We expect the Irish players to make it very tight and for the midfield area of the pitch to be very packed.
"When it comes to Euro 2012, the expectation will be high and other teams know how we play now so we have to work even harder than ever to win."
Trapattoni's team lost their opening match in Group C 3-0 against Croatia.
