Roy Keane has insisted that the Republic of Ireland will travel to Euro 2016 intent on winning the competition after securing their place at the tournament.
Martin O'Neill's men defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-0 in the second leg of their playoff clash courtesy of a brace from Jonathan Walters, which sent them through to the finals 3-1 on aggregate.
Assistant boss Keane told RTE: "We do not want to go there just to make up the numbers.
"We will go there to do the country proud and put on a good performance. Doing your best, that is all you can ask."
Ireland were knocked out at the group stage in Euro 2012.
