Striker Kevin Doyle has been stretchered off with what appears to be a serious leg injury in Republic of Ireland's friendly international against Switzerland.
The 32-year-old had been hoping to boost his chances of selection for Euro 2016 after being handed a start by Martin O'Neill, but midway through the first half, he went down after a challenge with a Swiss defender.
After looking at the injury, Doyle immediately signalled to the bench that his match was over and he was soon helped off the pitch.
With just two months remaining until O'Neill has to name his 23-man squad for the tournament in France, Doyle is likely to be excluded if he has sustained any significant damage.
