Republic of Ireland boss Martin O'Neill expects to have a fully fit squad to choose from for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland.

Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill is hopeful that he will have a full squad to choose from for next week's crucial Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland.

The Green Army played out a goalless draw against England at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, six days prior to their Group D meeting with Gordon Strachan's side.

Jonathan Walters missed out on a place in the starting lineup, while John O'Shea was replaced 20 minutes from time, although O'Neill expects both to be fit for next Saturday's match.

"Jon was just feeling it a little bit, but I think everybody's okay," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying. "John O'Shea's calf was tightening up on him, so I made a change there.

"It's something he's suffered a little bit from in the past and I'm hoping in the next couple of days he comes through that."

Ireland will also be boosted by the inclusion of skipper Robbie Keane, who will take part in training later this week upon arriving from his Major League Soccer exploits.
