Former Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill is reportedly close to being appointed the new boss of the Republic of Ireland national team.
The 61-year-old was previously linked with the position, but has also been named as a possible candidate for the Crystal Palace vacancy following eight months out of work.
However, it is understood that a number of bookmakers in Dublin have suspended betting on the odds of O'Neill agreeing to take on the Ireland role, according to BBC Sport.
Giovanni Trapattoni left the position with the national setup in September.
