Republic of Ireland defender Richard Dunne has backed his side to keep grinding out results.
Giovanni Trapattoni's system and tactics were widely criticised after Ireland's 2-1 win over Armenia on Tuesday night.
However, Dunne is not worried by criticism of the national side's style and is more concerned with the end result.
"People can talk about us not being exciting to watch, but as long as come next summer we're off to Poland and Ukraine, we'll be happy enough," said the Aston Villa defender.
"We are going into the next game with lots of confidence. We believe, whoever we get, we are going to give as good as we get and they are not going to be in for an easy game."
Trapattoni's side secured their play-off place for Euro 2012 with the win over Armenia.
Ireland will discover their play-off opponents when the draw is made on Thursday.
