Canada have been held to a frustrating goalless draw by Honduras in their CONCACAF World Cup qualifier at BMO Field.
The hosts, who began their campaign with a 1-0 away victory over Cuba on Friday, dominated possession but wasted a host of gilt-edged chances.
Dwayne De Rosario, Julian de Guzman and David Edgar were all guilty of missing the target from scoring range.
Honduras, who named Premier League duo Maynor Figueroa and Wilson Palacios in their starting XI, looked threatening on the counter-attack and were a whisker away from taking the lead in the first half as Antony Lozano flicked Oscar Garcia's cross onto the roof of the net.
The chance of the game came in second-half stoppage time when unmarked Canada captain Kevin McKenna headed wide from six yards out.
Canada, who have not reached a World Cup since 1986, host Panama next on September 7.
