Ross County boss Derek Adams believes that his side were worthy winners following the narrow 1-0 victory over St Johnstone at Victoria Park this afternoon.
Graham Carey fired an 88th-minute winner for the hosts which proved enough to down Tommy Wright's men, and Adams believes that his team were good value for the win overall.
"We probably deserved it," he told reporters. "We put a lot of crosses into the box and were unfortunate not to get anyone on the end of them, especially in the second half.
"I thought the first half was an even affair, no team really created a lot in the first half.It is always difficult against St Johnstone and today was no different. They are a very good side who are in a good position."
County, who sit 10th in the Scottish Premiership table, travel to 11th-placed Partick Thistle next weekend knowing that victory would take them five points clear of the relegation zone.
