Ross County manager Jim McIntyre has declared that his side deserved their 1-0 victory over St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.
Liam Boyce scored the decisive goal in the dying stages of the match, and McIntyre believes that his side's determination throughout the 90 minutes paid off.
"We had to grind that out tonight, it was a really hard-fought game. But I think in the end we deserved the three points," PA Sport quotes him as saying.
"We were just a wee bit wasteful with the final pass, we spoke about that at half time to try and improve the end product.
"The determination of the players to keep doing the right things and get into the right areas eventually paid off."
The Staggies remain in 10th place in the table following the win, three points ahead of Motherwell in the relegation zone below them.
