Ross County chairman Roy MacGregor has admitted that he would like to reward manager Derek Adams for an impressive Scottish Premier League start with an extension to his contract.
County currently sit ninth in the SPL with 12 points from 11 games and although Adams has a year and a half remaining on his current deal, MacGregor would like to extend it.
"Derek is halfway through the second year of his deal and we would like to extend it, although he has 18 months remaining and I am relaxed about the situation," the Daily Record quotes MacGregor as saying.
"Derek has done great so far and, like the club, he is finding his feet very successfully in the SPL."
County almost defeated Celtic famously in August but were denied by a late equaliser.
