Rotherham United manager Steve Evans has admitted that he is "disappointed" to have seen his side surrender a two-goal advantage, but is still happy with the performance of his players.
The Millers led 2-0 against Preston North End before eventually falling 3-2 behind, only for Lee Frecklington to rescue a point late on at Deepdale.
"I've just been speaking to some people from Preston and it was played like a cup tie with some real intensity," Evans told the club's official website following the game.
"We knew Preston would have a real good go in front of their supporters and put balls into the box and their bench thought it was done, but it's never done against Rotherham United.
"When you're 2-0 up you're sure to be disappointed when you don't take maximum points but we know this is a club with a proud tradition and they've given the manager everything they had."
The point leaves Rotherham in fifth place in the League One table, three points behind Preston.
