Rotherham United have made it back-to-back wins in the Championship with a comfortable 3-0 victory at home to Bristol City.
Both sides created early chances but it was the Millers who drew first blood in the 10th minute as Jonson Clarke-Harris fired home his first of the afternoon from 25 yards.
Rotherham had the chance to double their lead in the 27th minute from the penalty spot after Jonathan Kodjia hauled down Kirk Broadfoot in the area.
Clarke-Harris stepped up and doubled his tally for the afternoon from 12 yards, giving the hosts a two-goal lead to take into the break.
The second half was a tighter affair but Rotherham eventually netted a third through Lee Frecklington, the midfielder turning the ball in from close range to put the result beyond doubt.
Clarke-Harris had the chance to make it a hattrick in the final minute when he found himself clean through on goal, but he fired wide on the half-volley and had to settle for a brace.
The result sees second-bottom Rotherham move within a point of the nearest position of safety.
