James Tavernier has revealed that he is relishing the chance to play regular football for Rotherham United this season.
The 21-year-old joined the League One outfit on loan from Newcastle United earlier in the season and has emerged into a key member of their first XI.
"You always get a good amount of games over Christmas and we can pick a lot of points," Tavernier told reporters.
"It's a great thing for me, I love the games to come quicker than every Saturday, I'd want two games a week normally.
"But it's a great feeling when you have back-to-back games when you are playing well. So I'm really looking forward to the games coming up."
Rotherham currently sit sixth in League One.
