Czech Republic winger Vaclav Pilar has said that he and his teammates can bounce back after losing 4-1 to Russia at Euro 2012.
Pilar pulled one goal back for the Czechs to start the second half after falling two goals behind before the break. However, Russia midfielder Alan Dzagoev struck back with his second of the night before a fourth wrapped things up in Wroclaw.
"We made mistakes as if we weren't prepared well enough," Pilar told reporters.
"We wanted to get back into the game but as soon as we lost our breath [Russia] scored two more.
"It seems that all the effort was for nothing. It will be tough to show that we are still good after getting a result like this. But we believe."
Michal Bilek's men will next face 2004 winners Greece.
