Russia goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev has suffered 'minor burns' after he was hit by a flare during his side's Euro 2016 Group G qualifier with Montenegro.
Akinfeev was replaced by substitute goalkeeper Yuri Lodygin after being struck by the flare approximately 20 seconds after kickoff.
The CSKA Moscow shot-stopper was taken to a nearby hospital in the Montenegrin capital Podgorica with a neck injury and minor burns.
According to BBC Sport, Miljan Zindovic, an emergency care doctor at Podgorica hospital, claims that the goalkeeper suffered no major injuries but would remain in hospital "for a few hours" for observation.
The game was eventually abandoned in the second half, amid crowd trouble and clashes between players on the pitch.
