Christophe Galtier has admitted that Saint-Etienne have not been able to put in enough preparation ahead of their Ligue 1 clash with Evian TG on Wednesday.
The two sides meet in a rearranged game at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard after bad weather caused the match to be postponed due to an unplayable pitch in early December, and the conditions have wreaked more havoc to Les Verts' plans since the turn of the New Year.
"We didn't play and weren't even able to train over the weekend so we haven't got enough work in," Galtier told reporters.
"Evian isn't a bonus match. There are three points at stake in a home game and we have to do all we can to claim them.
"Our objective is to carry on the same way we left off in 2013, though it's too early to set an objective for our final finishing position."
The match kicks off at 7.45pm tonight.
