Saint-Etienne winger Max Gradel has suggested that a growth in confidence has enabled him to enjoy his time on the pitch for the Ligue 1 club this season.
Gradel has been in impressive form both domestically and internationally, with the Ivorian also making a large contribution to his country's recent Africa Cup of Nations triumph.
"I used to play for the fun of it, but now I'm more confident, I'm more mature and I'm enjoying it more because now I do almost anything I want to do on the pitch," Former Leeds United star Gradel told the The Ligue 1 Show.
Gradel's Saint-Etienne side currently occupy fifth spot in the Ligue 1 standings.
