Left-back Pierre-Yves Polomat has signed a new four-year contract with Saint-Etienne.
The 21-year-old's previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season, but he has now committed until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
"I always had the desire to play in St Etienne and upon my return my goal this summer was to convince the coach," Polomat told the club website.
"I hope to continue on that path. For me, the hard part begins."
The Martinique-born former France Under-20 international, who made his debut for the club in 2012, has played seven times for the Ligue 1 side this season.
