Sassuolo manager Eusebio Di Francesco has praised the performance of his players following their 3-2 win over AC Milan this afternoon.
Domenico Berardi fired in a hat-trick as the Neroverdi recorded their second win of the season against their opponents, who finished the game with nine men.
Milan were furious that the opening goal from Berardi did not appear to cross the line, but Di Francesco chose to focus on how his team played instead of the contentious decisions from the match officials.
"I liked the team, which tried to impose its style of football on the opposition," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"The incidents can favour one side or the other, but it's reductive to talk about that after the performance from my team.
"The goal-line issue is not the first such incident this season and can only be resolved by technology, as it's very tough to tell in real time."
Sassuolo return to Serie A action next weekend with a trip to Udinese.
