Schalke wingback Michel Bastos has revealed that he wants to make his loan deal at the club permanent.
The 29-year-old joined the Bundesliga outfit on an 18-month loan contract from Lyon in January.
"The ideal thing would be for Schalke to buy me," ESPNSoccernet quotes him as saying.
"I like to work in the long term at my clubs. My family are soon going to join me in Dusseldorf, where I have found a house."
Bastos joined Lyon from Lille in 2009.
