Scotland manager Gordon Strachan has confirmed that he will be without both Ikechi Anya and Charlie Mulgrew for tomorrow's crucial Euro 2016 qualifier against Poland.
Scotland have to avoid defeat if they are to stand any chance of sneaking into Group D's top three, but they will have to do it without Watford's Anya and Mulgrew of Celtic.
West Bromwich Albion's James Morrison, who is suspended for the Poland match, might also miss the final qualifier against minnows Gibraltar on Sunday.
"Ikechi is not going to make it, he has a tight calf so he has gone back to get treatment at Watford," Strachan told reporters.
"James Morrison is going to struggle. He got an injury at the end of the game against Crystal Palace the other day.
"Charlie Mulgrew was never going to be fit. Charlie is only here because he wanted to be here and add to the squad and what we do behind the scenes and he has certainly done that."
Scotland start the final round of fixtures four points behind the Republic of Ireland in third and six adrift of Poland in second.
