Chris Burke has claimed that there is "nothing but encouragement and positives" for Scotland to take following Friday's 2-1 defeat to Wales.
Despite leading 1-0 in the World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park, the Tartan Army eventually lost what was manager Gordon Strachan's first competitive game in charge.
"There is nothing but encouragement and positives," Burke told Sky Sports News. "Obviously things will take time, when a new manager comes in it doesn't happen overnight.
"But we have been very impressed with what the manager and the coaching staff have brought in.
"He wants us to play football and I think we showed that in patches. We will be looking to do that more often."
Scotland return to World Cup qualifying action on Tuesday when they travel to Serbia.
