Scotland defender Gordon Greer has admitted that making his international debut against USA at Hampden Park on Friday evening was "fantastic".
Greer played the entire 90 minutes as Gordon Strachan's side drew with a team ranked 13th in the world, and the Brighton & Hove Albion player has revealed that he will remember the occasion "for the rest of his life".
The 32-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It was great to get my debut. It's been a long time coming. I'm just delighted to be part of the squad and to be given the opportunity to play.
"A lot of people won't look back on this game as being one of Scotland's greatest nights but, for me, it was fantastic.
"I will remember this night for the rest of my life."
Greer has been an ever-present for Brighton in the Championship this season.
