James McCathur has said that the Scotland side are "gutted" after losing 3-2 to Germany in their Euro 2016 qualifier at Hampden Park.
Scotland twice fought back from a goal down in the first half to enter the break level with the world champions, but they couldn't respond to Ilkay Gundogan's 54th-minute winner.
"I'm tired to be honest, but gutted," he told Sky Sports News after the final whistle.
"Tonight you saw you we got after them, harried them and tried to make it hard for them. It shows you how good the characters are in the changing room.
"We need to go into the next two games and try to win them and hope it's enough."
Scotland lie in fourth place in Group D and must now win their final two matches and rely on other results in order to make the playoffs.
