Scotland manager Gordon Strachan has hinted that Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths could be in line for a call-up to the national squad.
The 24-year-old has hit a rich vein of form in recent months by scoring 14 goals since the turn of the year, including seven in his last five.
That followed a barren run of four strikes in his previous 19 outings, but Strachan is pleased to see Griffiths find his feet at the right time.
"Well he hadn't been doing too well and had been a substitute up until maybe six games ago," he is quoted as saying by STV. "So he'll be pleased with his form in the last two months with Celtic.
"I think if you asked him about his form previous to that it might not be as good as now. He's come good at the right time.
"I wouldn't use the term 'all season long' because I think he's only scored four goals up until then about six games ago. But he's always on my mind, that's for sure."
Scotland face Qatar in a friendly match on June 5.
