Craig Levein has added uncapped duo Paul Dixon and Gary MacKenzie into his Scotland squad ahead of their opening World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Macedonia later this month.

Huddersfield Town left-back Dixon, 25, will replace Southampton's Danny Fox, who has picked up a groin injury.

Meanwhile, Gary MacKenzie, 26, of MK Dons comes in for Russell Martin to provide cover in central defence, after the Norwich City centre-half aggravated his groin in training.
