Seattle Sounders have continued their superb recent form with a narrow victory over Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
The visitors took the lead in the second minute when Eddie Johnson headed home from Mauro Rosales's whipped corner kick.
Colorado were level less than a minute later when Drew Moor casually tucked away Brian Mullan's low cross from six yards.
Despite sustained pressure from Colorado in the second half, it was Seattle who netted the winner on 65 minutes courtesy of Osvaldo Alonso.
Seattle are now unbeaten in their last seven competitive matches.
