Newcastle United forward Papiss Cisse has expressed his willingness to represent Senegal at this summer's London Olympics.
Senegal have been drawn in Group A, alongside Stuart Pearce's Team GB, Uruguay and the UAE.
At 26 year's old, Cisse would have to be selected as one of his country's three over-23 players.
He said: "Of course the Olympics are important, but I think the emphasis should be on young players enjoying the competition.
"But if Senegal want me to play then I'll be proud to."
If he is called-up, Cisse could miss a large chunk of the Magpies' pre-season schedule, as the Olympic football tournament runs from July 26 until August 9.
