Sevilla boss Unai Emery has insisted that his side will not underestimate Borussia Monchengladbach in the Europa League.
Sevilla, who are the holders of the competition, were drawn against the German side in the last-32 stage on Monday.
Emery's side will enter as the slight favourites, but the Spaniard is aware of the threat posed by Gladbach.
"Borussia play at a very high level, along with a number of other sides [in the draw], and if we had to face each other today, seeing where the two teams are in the table, we would be talking about a Champions League clash," he told reporters.
"However, it's difficult to know how we will both be in February but we'll face this tie with the utmost enthusiasm and respect.
"We'll be playing a team with great potential, which they are proving in a league as strong as the German one, but we mustn't forget what this competition also means to Sevilla."
Gladbach currently sit fourth in the Bundesliga – the same position that Sevilla occupy in La Liga.
