Sevilla are reportedly preparing to approach Sporting Lisbon in January with a cut-price offer for Peruvian striker Andre Carrillo.
The 24-year-old will be out of contract at Sporting next summer and a host of clubs are believed to be monitoring the situation in Portugal.
However, according to Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla are prepared to offer Sporting a transfer figure to get the deal done in January, rather than risk missing out on the striker when he becomes a free agent.
Carrillo's agent Elio Caserato has been quoted as saying: "As the representative I have had some approaches but nothing will be decided until January."
As it stands, Carrillo is not taking part in first-team football for Sporting after being frozen out of the squad due to his unwillingness to pen a new contract.
