Jose Antonio Reyes has agreed a new two-year contract with La Liga outfit Sevilla.
The winger, who was due to become a free agent at the end of the month, started his career at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan back in 1999.
He left for Arsenal five years later, but following spells with Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Benfica, he returned to his boyhood club in 2012.
"Two more seasons is what I wanted, what I have always said and thank God it has been fulfilled. [I am] content and happy. It is the happiest day to sign for Sevilla," Reyes told the club's official website.
The 31-year-old scored five goals during his 37 appearances in all competitions last term.
