La Liga duo Sevilla and Real Betis are reportedly battling to secure the signature of Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario before the end of this summer's transfer window.
Mario spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham United, scoring twice in 13 Premier League appearances for the Hammers.
The Portugal international was linked with a return to the London Stadium during the summer, but the move ultimately did not take place.
Mario is believed to have no future at Inter, and according to Sky in Italy, Spanish rivals Sevilla and Betis are currently locked in a battle to secure the midfielder's services on an initial loan deal.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were also credited with an interest in Mario before the Premier League transfer window closed.
