Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luiz Adriano has alleged that he was racially abused by BATE Borisov fans during last night's 7-0 win in Belarus.
The 27-year-old netted five goals in the rout to become the second player after Barcelona star Lionel Messi to achieve the feat in a Champions League outing.
However, the Brazilian claims that his night was marred by the "ugly act" carried out by sections of the home supporters.
He told Shakhtar's official website: "I heard rude abuse... racist ones.
"Supporters behaved improperly and that is why I am disappointed and feel resentment. It was an ugly act from their side."
Manchester City's Yaya Toure found himself the victim of racism in last season's trip CSKA Moscow. The Russian champions were subsequently penalised with a partial stadium closure by UEFA.
