Shanghai Shenhua are reportedly interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion forward Tomer Hemed.
Hemed, 30, scored 13 Championship goals for Brighton last term, while the Israel international has netted twice in six Premier League appearances during the 2017-18 campaign.
The experienced forward will be out of contract at the end of the current season, however, and according to The Sun, Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua believe that £5m would be enough to sign Hemed at the start of 2018.
Hemed joined Brighton from Almeria in the summer of 2015, and has managed 39 goals in 167 appearances in all competitions for the now Premier League club.
Shanghai Shenhua currently have the likes of Obafemi Martins, Fredy Guarin and Carlos Tevez in their ranks.
