Promising Sochaux youngster Cedric Bakambu has said that he hopes to continue to improve by becoming mentally stronger this season.
Bakambu has long been touted as one of French football's most exciting talents having been on Sochaux's books since the age of 15, with the striker now beginning to cement a first-team place at Les Lionceaux.
"Above all, I need to become mentally tougher. I need to keep my head up when things aren't going my way," said Bakambu, according to Ligue1.com.
"Then I can be more consistent. I know I'm capable of turning in a big performance, but doing that week in and week out is more difficult."
Sochaux currently find themselves in 19th place in the Ligue 1 table.
