Southampton boss Ronald Koeman believes that Victor Wanyama could miss up to five weeks of action after picking up a hamstring injury in last night's 1-0 victory against Ipswich Town.
The 23-year-old, who has played a key part in the Saints' impressive campaign to date, had to be taken off shortly before half time at Portman Road in the FA Cup clash.
"It is a real negative," Koeman told reporters following the game. "We already have some other injuries. If it is a hamstring injury then he will be out for four to five weeks."
Wanyama has made 24 appearances for Southampton this season in all competitions.
