Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse has insisted that he and his teammates are "very confident" of beating Sheffield United in the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.
The Saints can reach their first major cup semi-final in 12 seasons if they can get through the League One opposition.
Ronald Koeman's side head into the contest on the back of a five-game winless run in the Premier League.
"It's going to be a massive occasion," the Daily Echo quotes Ward-Prowse as saying. "It's good as a young player to be involved and we're very confident we can beat them.
"We know the qualities they've got and we'll analyse them, but we know we've got enough quality to win the game."
The last time these two sides met was back in 2009.
