Southampton goalkeeper Kelvin Davis believes that it is vital for the club's supporters to stay behind the side following a "tough start" to the Premier League season.
The former Championship outfit sit one point above the relegation zone, claiming just one victory in seven games.
"We have had a tough start to life in the Premier League," said Davis. "But the guys in the stands need to stick behind the team. It's easy to let your spirits drop."
The Saints managed to salvage a point at the weekend with a 2-2 draw with Fulham.
