Southampton defender Jose Fonte insists that the team will be pushing hard to secure a place in next season's Champions League.
The Saints, who were tipped to be relegation candidates before the campaign began, are currently third in the Premier League table, two points clear of Tottenham Hotspur in fifth.
Fonte believes that the South Coast outfit are capable of achieving a top-four finish.
"No-one really believes in us, no one really thinks that we're going to get there, but we believe in ourselves and we're going to be fighting for that," he told the Daily Star.
"It's close and it's going to be like this until the end I think. We just need to keep going. But the other teams have all the pressure, not us."
Southampton beat Queens Park Rangers 1-0 at Loftus Road on Saturday.
