Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has urged Dusan Tadic to become a more selfish player in front of goal following his impressive start to life in the Premier League.
Tadic has won praise for playing a key role in taking the Saints to second in the table after 10 games, but Koeman is hopeful that the Serbian can add more goals to his game.
"I liked Tadic when I was in Holland because he used to score goals and grab assists. He is the perfect footballer; the type that brings big crowds to the stadium," the Dutchman told reporters. "But sometimes I feel he needs to be a little more egotistical and selfish in front of goal, and not just look for the assist.
"He is fantastic, but I know he can score more goals. I don't ask players for something they do not have.
"I know the quality is there for him to start scoring more goals and I am sure we will all see it soon."
