Midlands outfit Ilkeston FC are reportedly preparing to lose 18-year-old forward Che Adams to the professional game in January.
The exciting teenager came through the ranks at the non-league club and his performances have reportedly attracted a host of interest.
According to Goal.com, Adams will leave the New Manor ground in January, with Southampton, Sunderland and Burnley all said to be interested in the pacey forward.
"We have to be sensible and it would be wrong of us to stand in [Adams's] way if a good opportunity arises for him to move to a higher level," Ilkeston chairman Dave Mantle recently said.
"We wouldn't do that - but I'm very aware that I also have to be fair to our supporters and do what's right for the club. I'm adamant that Che Adams will only leave Ilkeston when the time is right for him and for us."
A clutch of Championship clubs are also said to be in the race.
