Southampton defender Luke Shaw has admitted that he was pleased that his side earned a point in their clash with Manchester City at St Mary's Stadium.
Sergio Aguero handed City the lead in the 10th minute but the Saints fought back and got an equaliser just before half time through Pablo Osvaldo.
Shaw wrote on Twitter: "What a atmosphere today! We gave are best today! Sad about not getting all 3 but will take a point against a good city team."
Southampton are eighth in the Premier League following their draw.
