Lille attacker Sofiane Boufal will reportedly undergo a medical at Southampton tomorrow ahead of his proposed club-record move.
Speculation earlier this week suggested that the Saints had agreed a £21m fee with Lille for the 22-year-old, with manager Claude Puel returning to his former club for attacking reinforcements.
Southampton have seen Sadio Mane and Graziano Pelle leave the club this summer, while Jay Rodriguez has been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion, despite earning his side a point against Sunderland today.
Sky Sports News now reports that Boufal will have his medical on the south coast on Sunday, with the deal expected to be finalised in the coming days.
However, Boufal's medical could be complicated by a knee injury he sustained in May, which is expected to keep him sidelined until next month.
The Morocco international, who scored 11 Ligue 1 goals last season, is set to overtake Dani Osvaldo as Southampton's record signing.
