Fiorentina have reportedly identified Southampton forward Manolo Gabbiadini as a possible signing during the January transfer window.
Gabbiadini arrived at St Mary's in January 2017, but there have previously been reports that the Italian would prefer a return to his homeland at some stage in the future.
The 26-year-old has only contributed 10 goals from 47 appearances in the Premier League, but according to Corriere dello Sport, Fiorentina may be willing to give the attacker a chance to return to Serie A.
The report claims that Gabbiadini is one of a number of forwards on Fiorentina's radar, with the club only scoring 18 times in 12 matches in Serie A this season.
Gabbiadini's contract does not expire until 2021, but Southampton may be prepared to do business for the right price, with the player having only made two starts in the top flight this season.
