Pablo Osvaldo has said that he is "very happy" to be joining Inter Milan following just one season with Southampton.
The striker became the Saints' record signing last summer, but spent the second half of the campaign on loan with Juventus following a training ground bust-up.
He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I am very happy to be at Inter. Now I have to have my medical before signing, so I don't want to say too much in case of bad luck.
"I hope to do well with my teammates, and form a partnership with [Rodrigo Palacio and Mauro Icardi] for the sake of Inter."
Osvaldo scored three goals in 13 appearances for Southampton.
